FQ1: What’s the coldest you’ve ever been and where was that?

The coldest place I’ve ever been was Colorado Springs. It was around Christmas time. Will was graduating from WyoTech in 2003 and we stayed at my sister-in-law’s house.

FQ2: What’s the warmest you’ve ever been and where was that?

I remember playing tennis in Whitter when I was in high school. It was 110 degrees outside. We would get water at the drinking foundtain and splash it on the ground, then step in the water to cool our feet down.

FQ3: If you had to choose, would you rather be too warm or too cold?

I prefer the summer time because it feels carefree. But I prefer moderate temperatures — the best of both worlds, kind of like the beginning of fall.

FQ Ego: What’s a moment you were at your coolest? Your hottest?

Cool under pressure: I’d have to say when I was driving home in a van one day from the beach and carrying several people inside. One of my tires fell off while I was driving freeway speeds on the 91 freeway. I calmly turned on my right blinker and made my way to the emergency lane on three wheels.

Hot in Hawaii: In 1987, got sunburned on my back because I feel asleep while lying on my stomach at Waikiki Beach in Honolulu. Terrible burn because I normally like to sleep on my back.
