Day 3: San Jose to Denver to Colorado Springs

Here in the cold weather! Yes, it feels good to cool down from the 80 degree heater blasting all day and all night. Visiting with Josephine’s other sister. I think I have altitude sickness, hopefully only a slight case of it, since I have a small headache.
The ride over from the Denver airport to Colorado Springs was kind of tight quarters, five of us scrunched in a Honda Civic. Lucas was in the back between me and Pourpa. He had to squish his little legs together for the whole drive.
Not much snow, which is good.
They had this “game”, which was basically a spinning top. It counts the number of revolutions made per minute. I beat the hi score with 860. Then Mike got 872. Then I got 894, 897, and finally the top score of 902. We are easily amused for only $7.
Update 12/29/04: This morning, I got 912, then 1024, exactly a kilobyte. Cool. Pourpa says that he got 1865, but he got ratted out by Mike who confessed that Pourpa cheated by “juicing” the top and continuously spinning it to attain that score.
