Day 7: Colorado Springs to Denver to San Jose

Flew back today. The flight was an hour longer going westward. Apparently, the plane flies opposite the flow of the Jet Stream, so friction slows the plane down and increases travel time.

It’s New Year’s Eve, waiting for dinner to be finished and guests to arrive at Josephine’s twin sister’s. Tomorrow is Josephine’s birthday.

I think I’m feeling like I want to go back to San Diego already. I’m approaching my limit and would like the comforts of my own home. Three more days to go.
