Auto Woes: What an interesting day so far, an unexpected minor auto accident with an Academy Award winning performance.

Buckle up for Safety: Then we have the wonderful ride to the airport with the taxi driver who talks on the phone while driving and can’t stay in between the white lane lines. We almost missed our exit; and he drove very close to cars in front of him, all in all, not a relaxing trip to the airport. And we mustn’t forget that he had the heater on even though the outside temperature was like 80 degrees.

Terminal: So we get to the American Airlines check in station at Terminal 2 and we find out that we are at the wrong terminal for going to London via Los Angeles. And the cab driver asked up if we were supposed to go to the Commuter Terminal. So we had to catch the “Red Bus” to get to the Commuter Terminal. Finally outside, we go the red bus stop and ask the bus driver if this is the right bus. He said “No,” that the Red Bus stops behind, which it did about 20 feet from where we just were.

Wait #1: So now we have about an hour wait before we board our flight to LAX.

Wait #2: Now we have a three-hour layover in LAX. The flight here was only 28 minutes in duration on a little prop plane. Those kinds of planes are very loud. I’m on a wireless connection here using something called Boingo, which cost me $9.95 for the day. I think I will watch one of my Netflix movies, probably The Phantom of the Opera (Widescreen Edition).
