iSkin Duo

At first I ordered an Ice Frame case for my iPod Nano almost a month ago. However, last night when I got an advertisement about the new iSkin, I changed my mind. Fortunately, my previous order has not shipped yet, nor had my payment been charged. So I was able to cancel my order and get this coolness instead.

I had done extensive research on the ipod nano as well as the cases. After deciding upon my criteria (it had to be a small ipod for skiing, and a very protective case for skiing), I chose the ipod nano with an iskin duo case. I bought the case from amazon, and upon opening it I was very pleased. The arctic ice was not as blue as I had hoped, but was very pretty indeed. I took off the clip, and immediately proceeded in slipping my newely opened ipod into the case. I would suggest not opening the nano until the case arrives, as it has had various reviews that have commented, and complained about the easiness at which the nano can be scratched. I put the case on, and happily discovered that aside from two small plastic bits, the back was smooth. (I had been worried about this because the back had not been photographed.) Then, I found that the markings on the nano did not match up to those on the case, so I took off the case again. This time, I separated the two layers, and found that the reason for the two plastic bits on the back was that there was another plastic part withing the cases. When I removed it, the back was left free of any markings whatsoever, except for two small holes. This is not a problem, however, because the first layer is still there to ensure the safetey of the ipod. Overall I would have to say that if you are planning on investing in a case, this is the one. It is not only really pretty, but protective at the same time to ensure that an accidental drop will not be the end of your investment.
